American Trust & Savings Bank has proudly served the Northwest Indiana area for the past eighty years. The insurance department of the bank has been around for as many years and has enjoyed a "grandfathered" license to sell insurance when other banks could not. With the introduction of the financial reform act, other banks are now jumping on the bandwagon. Unfortunately they do not have the experience that we have.
